Hi...We're back from vacation, and all we can say about the bands that we saw was WOW! We're huge KANSAS fans and have seen them countless times...This was the best yet! For anyone thinking about seeing POISON? A MUST SEE! Those old rockers really kicked it out and CC was unbelievable on guitar and Brett Michaels still has his chops...BUT, the band that surprised us the most was STAIND...They put on the best concert we saw this year at RockFest! They are coming to the Myth Nightclub in August and we're going to see them again! KID ROCK was amazing, but we didn't need to be reminded over 100 times who he was! There were a couple of bands that were just ok, like LIVE & GEORGE THOROGOOD, but the worst we heard was Motley Crue...A huge disappointment (great stage show though!) Nikki Sixx lipsynced, and poor Vince Neil...He needs to quit and give our ears a break! We thought about the Pam Anderson connection...Friday-KID ROCK, Saturday-Motley Crue (Tommy LEE) and Sunday-Poison (Brett Michaels) We couldn't connect her with anyone we saw on Thursday though! LOL
We're happy to be back, and well rested from our 4 days of partying, camping and rocking! Now we just need to get back into the swing of things!...
